When it comes to the environment, it's hard not to notice how much care the earth needs when you live in South Florida. By simply taking a short stroll along the beach you'll notice litter along the shoreline and trash floating out in the waves.
Do your part in sustaining the earth and bettering the world we live in by celebrating Earth Day (April 22) around South Florida. Keep reading to discover eight Earth Day events happening throughout Broward County, Boca Raton and Delray Beach.

On April 22, Square One will offer its pan-roasted sixty south salmon entree for $22. Usually priced at $27, the dish features fregola risotto, English pea, leek confit, horseradish and white wine sauce. Who doesn’t love discounts?
On April 22, BurgerFi will serve $5 VegeFi Burgers, as well as $5 Beyond Burgers. The VegeFi Burger is comprised of crispy quinoa and pure-cut veggie burger, white cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and BurgerFi sauce on a multigrain bun or lettuce. The Beyond Burger is a plant-based burger and features a single Beyond Meat patty with pickles, onions, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup and American cheese (vegan options are also available). Guests will also receive a free “plantable burger” coaster with any burger purchase to plant their own tomato and lettuce at home.

Chug some beer and save the world! Sounds unrealistic? It’s not—every Bokamper’s Sports Bar & Grill location will donate $1 from all Bo’s Brew Pale Ale sales to the Surfrider Foundation, an organization that strives to protect the ocean and beaches. The promotion will be happening on April 22. Imbibers who buy the ale and swipe their registered Bokamper’s MVP reward cards can win a VIP brewery tour for 12 at Saltwater Brewery, who brewed the beer exclusively for Bokamper’s.
