The Cause: Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse held its annual luncheon at the Boca Raton Resort & Club, focusing on the strength, courage and determination of women. Guest speaker Lily Rose Lee, formerly Michelle Knight, the first of three women abducted by notorious Cleveland kidnapper Ariel Castro, recounted the story of her years in captivity and her escape. Proceeds from the luncheon’s silent auction benefit AVDA’s life-saving services.
