A European-style cafe and bakery from the same group behind established Palm Beach-area restaurants Pistache and PB Catch is now open in Delray Beach.

Paneterie, which serves oven-fresh breads and pastries, specialty macarons, and more, opened Wednesday, March 2, at The Shoppes at Addison Place. This is the second location for the brand, which has another Paneterie in downtown West Palm.

The concept from TITOU Hospitality and restaurateur Thierry Beaud aims to provide a true European neighborhood cafe and bakery experience.

The cafe menu includes salads, quiches and gourmet sandwiches. These range from grilled paninis and other hot sandwiches, such as the caprese ($9.50) and Croque Monsieur ($7.50), to cold options, such as the French brie ($9.50) or smoked salmon ($12).

The highlight is Paneterie's fresh baked croissants, Brioche and Danish pastries ($3)—which are baked throughout the day—and high-quality desserts, including eclairs, tarts and napoleons ($5-$6).

Paneterie also offers about 10 macaron flavors, available on a daily basis ($2 per, or $22 for a dozen), and a wide selection of coffee and tea.

Beaud will be coming out with another Palm Beach County restaurant soon. He is collaborating with "Top Chef" finalist Lindsay Autry on The Regional Kitchen & Public House, set to open in West Palm Beach's CityPlace later this year.
