Keep your eyes peeled for Zac Efron in a speedo if you'll be heading to the beach in the Boca area this week.

The actor is starring in the new movie "Baywatch," a reboot of the 1990s TV series, which is currently being shot in Palm Beach and Broward counties. The film officially started production Monday, according to an on-set publicist.

Efron, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and other stars of the film were shooting at South Inlet Park in Boca Raton Monday, closing down the park to the public. The crew is expected to return there on Feb. 29, according to Palm Beach Post.

The cast and crew, which also includes actresses Alexandra Daddario and Priyanka Chopra, are staying at the Boca Raton Resort & Club.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the stars will be filming in Deerfield Beach, according to the Sun Sentinel. The outlet reported that the beach will remain accessible, but a few intersections will be closed to the public:

•South Ocean Drive and Southeast First Street

•South Ocean Drive & Southeast Second Street

•East Hillsboro Boulevard and South Ocean Way

In one of the scenes filmed on the first day on set, The Rock's character, Mitch Buchannon—played by David Hasselhoff in the television show—gives Efron's character, Matt Brody, a speech about their beach bods, Johnson told fans in an Instagram post.

"Zac's ad-libbed responses were brilliant! Talented and great dude," Johnson wrote.

Efron likewise enjoyed his "first day protecting the bay."

"Baywatch" is scheduled for a May 2017 release, according to IMDB.
