Offering authentic Italian fare since 2006, Sardinia Enoteca Ristorante has been a South Beach staple. But you won’t have to make the drive south any longer, because a new location is coming to Delray Beach.
Sardinia Delray is set to open in mid-October. It’s co-owned by Antonio Gallo and Pietro Vardeu.
The casual but elegant eatery features a wood-burning oven, giving a smoky impudence to grilled or baked meat and fish. The open kitchen allows customers to watch the chefs do their magic after ordering rustic dishes like spaghetti bottarga, panella di agnello, grilled octopus and salt-crusted branzino.
The restaurant will also offer an extensive wine list with over 300 labels.
Sardinia Delray will be located at the South Delray Shopping Center and will open every day for dinner. Lunch will begin to be offered in November.
