Miss the good ol’ days of seeing your favorite athletes smile back at you as you sat at the breakfast table, eating a bowl of Wheaties?
Well, Wheaties isn’t bringing those boxes back, but IT’SUGAR is launching the retro favorite in a modern way, alongside two South Florida star athletes.
The sweet experiential candy retailer has partnered with Miami Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi and Florida Panthers center Vincent Trocheck to launch Sweeties, a limited-edition collection of the athletes’ favorite candies.
Jay Ajayi’s line is Sugar Rush and Vincent Trocheck’s collection is called Trochex Mix. Twenty percent of the proceeds will go towards the players’ charities of choice: The Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami and Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation.
The Sugar Rush box contains yogurt-covered pretzels, chocolate malt balls, milk chocolate sandwich cookies and milk chocolate cookie dough. Trochex Mix is filled with blue raspberry gummy rings, Sour Power Quattro Doubles, wild cherry gummy bears and beary blue razz gummy bears.
