What started almost 60 years ago as a shop set up in Barbara Katz’s garage has since become a staple boutique based in Boca Raton. Aqua tones accent the store, complemented by elegant crystal and foil chandeliers. The decor sets the tone for a sophisticated inventory of women’s clothing, jewelry and handbags from labels like Fabiana Filippi, Pure Amici and Repeat.

Circe Swag
Circe Swag (Southern Wear and Goods) is a one-stop shop for the entire family. Pre-teen to adult men can shop designers like Costa Del Mar, Vineyard Vines and Peter Millar on the Swag side, while females of all age groups can browse labels like Tibi, Rebecca Taylor and Blaque Label on the Circe side. The women’s store also includes a full beauty bar with services by local make-up artists.

Etoile
Notorious in Boca Raton is the image of three women donning trench coats and berets, stepping in unison. Etoile Volin and her husband designed the distinguishable logo for her eponymous store, which has been dressing the Boca woman for 35 years. When asked for her favorite pieces, Volin says, “Everything is my favorite. If it isn’t my favorite, I don’t buy it.”

Infinity Ladies Boutique
With more than 30 years at its Addison Place location, Infinity Ladies Boutique dresses women in casual wear to black-tie attire. Sizes 0 to 22 can be found in the shop under labels like Chalet, Jovani and David Cline.

Nina Raynor
The store was once located where The Seagate Hotel & Spa now stands on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach. Nina Raynor opened the boutique in 1958 so she could outfit her country club friends. Bob and Joanne Wollenberg bought the store more than 20 years later and brought it to its current location where the ambience is meant to feel elegant and like home. (One of Joanne Wollenberg’s most important requests was that there be a working fireplace in the store.) The shop has since been taken over by the Wollenberg’s daughter, Cathy Ann Sauer, and son, Bobby Wollenberg. Evening wear is Nina Raynor’s specialty, with brands such as Lela Rose, Talbot Runhof and Fuzzi. Expert alterations are offered in-house.

Jamie’s Boutique
A concept that hosts designers predominantly based in Los Angeles, Jamie’s Boutique offers feminine and high-quality pieces, such as graphic tees and flowing dresses, at its airy Boca Raton location.

Blings & Things
The “blings” are jewelry pieces, and the “things” are accessories from luggage sets, to cellphone and iPad cases, to purses and more at the boutique in Pineapple Grove in downtown Delray Beach. The store was founded by Canadian couple Maryse Boisvert, a fashion stylist and personal shopper, and Tristan Bavaria, who designed the Florida store himself. The white and gray floor tiles paired with chandeliers and a black damask wallpaper create a European backdrop for shoppers.

Kyle by Alene Too
Schedule a one-on-one with a personal shopper at Kyle by Alene Too, which opened in July 2012 in Beverly Hills, California, and has since expanded to Boca Raton. The store is a product of a partnership between Housewives’ star Kyle Richards and fashion retailer Alene Too. Shoppers will find clothes, shoes, bags and jewelry from labels like Haute Hippie, Ramy Brook, Parker and Chanel.

Tootsies Delray
Footwear is the family business. It started with Vince Canning Shoes, a local retail icon situated in Delray Beach since 1952. And when the store across the street, Tootsies Delray, went up for sale, current owner LaRonda Denkler decided to make an offer. The store uses cream and coral colors with gold accents and comfortable couches for trying on shoes from designers like Lucky Brand and Sam Edelman.

Teen Angel
It was meant to outfit girls ages 7 to 14 when the Hollywood store opened in 1996. But Teen Angel has since grown with its customers, offering clothing for females of all ages, and moved to Coral Springs and Delray Beach. At the store, guests receive guidance equivalent to that of a personal shopper as they browse labels like Veronica M, LAmade and Sub_Urban Riot in styles meant for pre-teens to college students to grandmothers.

Grove Opticians
Robert Sarasohn travels annually to Europe to handpick the selection of eyewear he sells at Grove Optics in Boca Raton. Reflective mirrors and playful colors create a spatial illusion in the store to optimally showcase frames from lesser-known designers, such as La Fleur, Joly and Watercolors, to classics brands like Cartier, Fredericks and Robert Marc.

The Regency Collection
Spot a box wrapped in gold with a black bow knotted at the top, and it’s a good guess that the carrier purchased its contents at The Regency Collection. The wrap has been a signature to the store since its opening over two decades ago, when Linda Gefen and Robin Rose decided to sell upscale gifts and accessories at the Boca storefront.

Elegant Child
Shop gifts for boys, girls, infants and babies to mother-daughter matching outfits at Elegant Child. Corinne Barth opened the boutique to fill a void in Boca Raton where she felt there wasn’t a quality children’s boutique. Her daughter, Rebecca D’emic, joined the business when she became pregnant. The duo has since sold a large selection of European, Australian and hard-to-find children’s brands like Tutu Du Monde, Deux Par Deux and Mayoral. Elegant Child shoppers can buy a gift, have it monogrammed, wrapped and shipped all from the store in time for a baby’s birthdate.

Guy La Ferrera Boca Center
Master tailors and clothing consultants are at-the-ready during a visit to Guy La Ferrera, which has been dressing men in authentic Italian clothing for more than three decades. Located in Delray Beach, Apricot Lane was created with one focus in mind: the customer. Barry Shapiro and his son, Matthew Shapiro, strategically pick every piece that is featured in each store while keeping the appropriate customer in mind so that there are no similar sets or floor plans at any of the South Florida locations. Clothing brands include Naked Zebra, Lush, Vintage Havana, Elan and Flying Monkey. There are also darling accessories and items that make for fabulous gifts.

Etiquette Boutique
The first Etiquette Boutique in Fort Lauderdale opened in 2012. With two successful Fort Lauderdale shops, Etiquette’s newest addition arrived in November ready to clothe Boca Raton locals.
